Educational Inequality: Behavioural Difficulties

Boys are 6 times more likely to be diagnosed with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties or autism than girls. In total, 26,170 boys with Special Educational Needs have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties compared with 3,590 girls.
